OUR TERMS AND CONDITIONS

INSURANCE:

Antique Ceramic Restoration Ltd will be responsible for any one item up to the value of £20K for accidental damage, fire or theft whilst in our possession.

Responsibility lies solely with the client in respect of providing insurance for any one item of value exceeding £20K.

Antique Ceramic Restoration Ltd can arrange specialist insurance for items of value exceeding £20K, this must be declared on the estimate/goods receipt - there will be a charge for this service.

Responsibility lies with the client in respect of providing insurance for any item/s sent or delivered to Antique Ceramic Restoration Ltd.

Accidental or negligent damage caused to any item/s in transit by a third party will be the responsibility of the client.

ESTIMATES:

Antique Ceramic Restoration Ltd can only provide a full documented estimate after a physical examination of any given item is complete and will endeavour to keep to all documented estimate prices. Antique Ceramic Restoration Ltd reserves the right to apply additional charges if required. The client will be informed of any additional charges before recommencing restoration. Estimates provided from photographic evidence are only a guide.

PAYMENT:

Business to business payment will be by net monthly account. Invoices will be sent on completion of item/s.

All other clients will be required to pay on delivery/collection.

COLLECTION/DELIVERY:

The client is responsible to collect or arrange collection of their item/s. Antique Ceramic Restoration Ltd. can arrange delivery; however there will be an additional charge for this service.

Failure to collect or arrange collection within 30 days of being notified will result in a surcharge of 8% plus base rate per month being applied to the invoice. (EU DIRECTIVE 2000/35/EC 08/08/02)

NON-PAYMENT/FAILURE TO COLLECT:

If 90 days pass from notification of completed restoration Antique Ceramic Restoration Ltd reserves the right to sell the item/s for remuneration of the restoration cost incurred. Any balance remaining after costs incurred by Antique Ceramic Restoration Ltd will be available to the client for 180 days of the restoration notification date. There after any remaining balance will become the property of Antique Ceramic Restoration Ltd.

Responsibility lies with the client to inform Antique Ceramic Restoration Ltd. of any changes to their contact details

CANCELLATION:

If a restoration cancellation is requested and no work has commenced on any item/s then the client will be responsible to arrange collection as outlined in the terms and conditions.

Any part restoration must be paid for up to the date of cancellation.

RESTORATION:

All restored items are for display purposes only and should be kept away from extreme sunlight and heat.

All invisible type restoration is cosmetic and will not with stand soaking in water, washing with detergents, washing in a dishwasher or scratching. We recommend only light cleaning/dusting with a soft lint free cloth.

Other types of restoration are available that can withstand rougher handling and should be discussed directly with an Antique Ceramic Restoration Ltd. representative.

OUR GUARANTEE:

Antique Ceramic Restoration Ltd. always endeavours to produce work of the very highest standards. In the unlikely event that the client deems the restoration unsatisfactory, Antique Ceramic Restoration Ltd will carry out any necessary alterations at our discretion for no extra charge. In the event that Antique Ceramic Restoration Ltd. deem the alterations requested as unnecessary or above and beyond original requirements, we will inform you and invoice for the work completed from this date.
